Why can’t I find the Finalize Document entry?

  1. Make sure you are opening a WPS Writer document on iOS.
  2. Open the document and tap Review.
  3. Look for Finalize Document in the Review options.
  4. If you still do not see it, update WPS Office to the latest version and try again.

Can I still edit a document after it is finalized?

  1. A finalized document is marked as the final version to reduce further edits.
  2. If you need to edit it again, open the document.
  3. In the finalization pop-up, tap DetailsMore.
  4. Select Cancel Finalization and confirm to make the document editable again.

What does Anyone Can Finalize do?

  1. This setting controls whether other collaborators can start finalization in a collaborative workflow.
  2. Open the finalized document and go to DetailsMoreSettings.
  3. Turn Anyone Can Finalize on or off based on your collaboration needs.
  4. After the setting is updated, collaborators follow the current rule.

What should I check before finalizing a document?

  1. Finish your content edits, proofreading, and review first.
  2. Check that the title, body text, and any related notes are confirmed.
  3. Start Finalize Document only after the content is ready.
  4. If you plan to send the file out, it is helpful to share or export it after finalization.
