1. Start the Brush tool

Entry path: ToolsBrush → use your finger

  1. Tap Tools on the bottom toolbar.
  2. Tap Brush.
  3. Choose the brush type you want from the options below.
  4. Available options include Draw Notes, Highlight, Strikethrough, Underline, and Signature.
  5. Draw or mark directly on the document page.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the document enters Brush editing mode and shows available brush types.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not enter Brush first, finger movement may only scroll the page.

2. Change Brush options

Entry path: Brush editing screen → palette button in the lower-left corner

  1. Enter the Brush editing screen first.
  2. Tap the palette button in the lower-left corner.
  3. Choose a standard pen or brush style to adjust the current line style.
  4. Switch between hard and soft tips as needed to change the stroke effect.
  5. Select a color for the current brush.
  6. Turn on smart shape recognition if needed, then pause briefly after drawing to convert the shape.
