Entry: More in the top menu bar → All Services / Document Processing → Reduce File Size
- Open the document that you want to reduce.
- Tap More in the top menu bar.
- Tap All Services or Document Processing.
- Tap Reduce File Size.
- Wait while WPS analyzes the document and shows the compressible space.
- Choose whether to back up the original document.
- Tap Start to begin the reduction process.
- Review the file size comparison after the process is complete.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: You can see the available compressible space or the completed processing result.
- Next action: You can review the before-and-after file size comparison and continue to save or share the document.
- No unwanted effect: If you chose to back up the original document, the original version remains available.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not enter from a text document, you may not see the Reduce File Size entry.
