1. Set Text Direction
Entry point: Page tab → Text Direction drop-down menu
- Open the document you want to edit.
- Click the Page tab.
- Click the Text Direction drop-down menu.
- Select the preset direction you want, such as Horizontal, Vertical (Left to Right), or Vertical (Right to Left).

2. Customize Text Direction
Entry point: Page tab → Text Direction drop-down menu → Text Direction Options
- Open the document you want to edit.
- Click the Text Direction drop-down menu on the Page tab.
- Select Text Direction Options.
- In the dialog box, choose the text display direction.
- Set the apply range, such as the whole document or content after the insertion point.
- Click OK to finish the setting.
