Entry path: Page tab → Page Borders
- Open the Writer document that you want to edit.
- Click the Page tab.
- Click Page Borders.
- In the dialog box, choose the border settings you want.
- Click OK to apply the border.

2. Set Border Styles
Entry path: Page tab → Page Borders
- Click Page Borders on the Page tab.
- In the Page Borders dialog box, choose a border style.
- Set the line style, color, and width as needed.
- If you want a more decorative result, choose an art border style.
- Click OK to apply the settings.

- The page border shows the selected line style, color, width, or art effect.

3. Adjust Border Options
Entry path: Page tab → Page Borders → Options
- Click Page Borders on the Page tab.
- In the Page Borders dialog box, click Options.
- Set the distance between the border and the page edge.
- Choose the measurement basis as Text or Margin.
- Click OK to save the option settings, then click OK again to apply them.

- The spacing between the border and the page content changes.
