1. Turn Eye Care Mode on or off
Entry: Top menu bar View → Eye Care Mode
- Open WPS Writer on your Mac and enter any document.
- Click View in the top menu bar.
- Click Eye Care Mode.
- The document background changes to a soft green color.
- To return to the original display, click Eye Care Mode again to turn it off.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The document background changes, and the eye-care color appears after the feature is turned on.
- You can continue working: You can keep reading, editing, saving, and printing the document.
- No side effect: The document content is not changed.
Tips While Using
- Eye Care Mode affects only the on-screen display.
- Click the same entry again to turn it off.
- This feature is separate from document formatting changes.
2. Switch Eye Care Mode from the status bar
Entry: Eye Care Mode icon at the lower right of the status bar
- Open a WPS Writer document.
- Find the Eye Care Mode icon at the lower right of the status bar.
- Click the icon to turn on Eye Care Mode quickly.
- Click it again whenever you want to turn the feature off.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: After you click the icon, the document background switches immediately between normal display and eye-care display.
- You can continue working: You can complete the switch without leaving the current document.
Tips While Using
- The status bar entry is useful when you want to switch modes quickly while reading.
- If the current window is small, first make sure the full status bar area is visible.
