How-to Guide
1. Insert a WPSArt flowchart
Feature entry: Insert tab → WPSArt
- Open a WPS Writer document.
- Click the Insert tab at the top.
- Click WPSArt.
- Open the side panel and prepare to choose a flowchart style.
Success Criteria
- The WPSArt panel opens successfully.
- You can continue browsing and selecting templates.
Tips While Using
- Make sure you are working in an editable WPS Writer document.
- If you do not see the entry, enlarge the window or switch to the full ribbon view.
2. Choose a flowchart style template
Feature entry: WPSArt style panel on the right
- Browse the available templates in the WPSArt panel.
- Select the flowchart style that fits your document.
- Click OK to insert the selected template into the document.

- The selected flowchart is inserted into the current document.
- The document shows the expected graphic structure.

- Before choosing a template, decide whether you need a process view or a hierarchy view.

3. Edit content inside the flowchart
Feature entry: Select the inserted flowchart and edit directly
- Select the inserted WPSArt flowchart in the document.
- Click the text area inside the graphic.
- Type or revise the content you want to show.
- Continue filling in text for each node as needed.
Success Criteria
- The text inside the flowchart is updated.
- Text in each node displays normally.
Tips While Using
- It helps to organize your process steps first, then fill them into the nodes one by one.
- If the text is long, the layout may look tighter, so you can refine the style afterward.
4. Change the flowchart style
Feature entry: Select the flowchart → Design tab
- Select the flowchart you want to adjust.
- Click the Design tab at the top.
- Choose suitable options for color sets, layout, or related styles.
- Review the result in the document and continue adjusting if needed.

- The flowchart style changes successfully.
- The color or layout fits the document style better.

- It is usually easier to adjust styles after most content is already in place.
