1. Insert a WPSArt Flowchart
Entry: Insert → WPSArt
- Open a document in WPS Writer.
- Click the WPSArt button on the Insert tab.
- On the right side, choose the template style you want. Available categories include List, Process, Cycle, Hierarchy, Relationship, Matrix, Pyramid, and Picture.
- Click OK to insert the selected flowchart into the current document.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected WPSArt graphic appears in the document.
- What you can do next: You can type or edit text in the graphic and continue adjusting its style.
Tips While Using
- Before choosing a template, decide whether your content fits a process, hierarchy, or relationship structure.
- After insertion, it is often easier to finish the text first and then adjust the style.
2. Modify a Flowchart Style
Entry: Select the flowchart → Design
- Select the inserted flowchart in the document.
- Click the Design tab at the top of the window.
- Choose the style you want from options such as color schemes and layouts.
- Review the visual change in the document and continue fine-tuning if needed.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The flowchart color scheme, layout, or overall style changes.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing the text in the graphic or switch to another style again.
Tips While Using
- Select the target flowchart before changing styles, or the Design options will not apply to the current object.
