WPS Table Styles questions usually focus on style display, borders and shading, diagonal headers, and content layout; this FAQ covers 4 common questions.
FAQ
Why does all the content look crowded after I apply a table style?
- Check whether the original table structure is correct and confirm that content was not merged into one cell by mistake.
- Select the whole table again and apply a more suitable preset style.
- If needed, adjust column width, row height, or cell margins manually to improve spacing.
Why do border or shading changes not take effect?
- Confirm that you selected the correct table range, cell, or border line.
- Open Borders and Shading and check whether the apply range is set correctly.
- Click OK and review the page again. If needed, apply the settings one more time.
- Save the document as a .docx file before continuing to edit.
How do I place text inside a diagonal header?
- Finish the diagonal header setup first.
- Enter two pieces of text in the cell and use line breaks and spaces to adjust their positions.
- If you need more flexible layout control, insert text boxes, place the text separately, and move them into position.
Why is an image inside my table not fully visible?
- Adjust row height and column width so they fit the image size.
- Check table page-break settings to avoid display issues caused by pagination.
- If there are many images, insert them in batches to reduce display issues during loading.
