FAQ

Why can't I hide the page number on only the first page?

  1. The iOS version does not currently support a different first page setting.
  2. If you need to hide the first-page number, continue the layout work in desktop WPS.
  3. After that, you can return to mobile for viewing or light editing.

What happens after I delete page numbers?

  1. Deleting page numbers removes them from the document as a whole.
  2. Check whether you still need continuous pagination before removing them.
  3. If needed, go back to Tools → Insert → Page Number and set them again.

Do page numbers update automatically after insertion?

  1. Yes. After you insert page numbers, they update automatically as the document repaginates.
  2. If content changes cause the page count to change, the numbering changes with it.
  3. Before printing or exporting, review the pagination one more time.
