FAQ
Why can't I hide the page number on only the first page?
- The iOS version does not currently support a different first page setting.
- If you need to hide the first-page number, continue the layout work in desktop WPS.
- After that, you can return to mobile for viewing or light editing.
What happens after I delete page numbers?
- Deleting page numbers removes them from the document as a whole.
- Check whether you still need continuous pagination before removing them.
- If needed, go back to Tools → Insert → Page Number and set them again.
Do page numbers update automatically after insertion?
- Yes. After you insert page numbers, they update automatically as the document repaginates.
- If content changes cause the page count to change, the numbering changes with it.
- Before printing or exporting, review the pagination one more time.
