1. Insert a Shape
Feature path: Tools > Insert > Shape
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Select the Insert tab.
- Tap Shape.
- Choose the shape and style you want, or use the free-draw option to create a shape.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: The selected shape appears in the document.
- Next action available: You can move the shape, continue editing the document, or double-tap the shape to enter text.

2. Delete a Shape
Feature path: Select shape > Delete
- Select the target shape in the document.
- Tap Delete.
- You can also tap Delete from the floating toolbar.
- You can also tap Delete from the ribbon area when it is available.
- You can also tap Tools, open the Drawing Tools tab, and then tap Delete.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: The selected shape disappears from the document.
