1. Crop Image

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Crop.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner to enter editing mode.
  2. Select the image that you want to adjust.
  3. Tap Crop from the floating toolbar, the ribbon, or Tools > Picture.
  4. Drag the image edges to adjust the crop area.
  5. Tap Save in the upper-right corner.

Success Criteria

  • The image shows the new cropped area.
  • You can continue with layout changes, saving, or other image tasks.

Tips While Using

  • If the image is not selected first, the crop option will not appear.

2. Image Editing

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Image Editing.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select the image that you want to edit.
  3. Tap Image Editing.
  4. Choose the image adjustment, annotation, or AI repair option that you need.
  5. Tap Save to finish.

Success Criteria

  • The edited image effect is updated.
  • You can continue editing, placing, or saving the image.

3. Text Extraction from Images

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Text Extraction on the floating toolbar.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select the image that contains the text.
  3. Tap Text Extraction.
  4. Tap Start Extraction.
  5. Review the extracted text and continue editing or exporting if needed.

Success Criteria

  • Recognized text is displayed.
  • You can copy the text, and membership users can continue with AI extraction or document export.

  • AI extraction and document export require WPS Premium.

4. Image Translation

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Image Translation on the floating toolbar.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select the image that you want to translate.
  3. Tap Image Translation.
  4. Wait for the translation to finish.
  5. Copy the translated result or export it as a Word document.

Success Criteria

  • The translated result is displayed.
  • You can copy the result or export the document.

5. Replace Image

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Replace Image on the floating toolbar.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select the image that you want to replace.
  3. Tap Replace Image.
  4. Choose a new image from the camera, photo library, or image material library.
  5. Confirm the replacement result.

  • The original image is replaced with the new one.

6. Delete Image

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Delete.

7. Rotate Image

Feature entry: Enter editing mode, select the image, and tap Rotate.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.

  4. Check whether the new direction is correct.

8. Text Wrapping for Images

Feature entry: Select the image, open Tools > Picture, and tap Wrap.

  1. Tap Edit in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select the image that you want to adjust.
  3. Tap Tools and open the Picture tab.
  4. Choose a wrapping style such as In Line with Text, Top and Bottom, Square, Tight, Through, In Front of Text, or Behind Text.
  5. Review how the text flows around the image.

9. Image Object Order

  4. Choose Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send Backward, or Send to Back.
