1. Quickly add bullets

Entry: Home tab → Bullets button

  1. Select the paragraphs where you want to add bullets.
  2. Click the Home tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click the Bullets button.
  4. Apply the default bullet style directly.

Success Criteria

  • Bullet marks appear before the selected paragraphs.
  • You can continue typing or editing the list.

Tips While Using

  • If no text is selected first, bullets are applied from the current paragraph where the cursor is placed.

2. Customize bullets

Entry: Home tab → Bullets drop-down menu → Custom Bullets

  1. Click the Home tab.
  2. Open the Bullets drop-down menu.
  3. Click Custom Bullets.
  4. Select a bullet style and click Custom.
  5. Choose the symbol, font, and application scope as needed.
  6. Click OK to apply the setting.

4. Customize numbering

  1. Select the paragraphs where you want to add numbering.

  3. Click the drop-down menu next to Numbering.
  4. Select any numbering style and click Custom.
