1. Set alignment from the toolbar
Entry: Home → Paragraph → alignment buttons
- Select the paragraph content you want to format.
- Click the Home tab.
- In the Paragraph group, choose the alignment option you need.
- Select left, center, right, justify, or distributed alignment based on your layout needs.
- If needed, use shortcuts such as Ctrl+L, Ctrl+E, Ctrl+R, Ctrl+J, or Ctrl+Shift+J.

Tips While Using
- Alignment is applied at the paragraph level, so confirm the cursor position or selection range first.

- Distributed alignment is more suitable for Chinese layout scenarios that need more even character spacing.
2. Set alignment from the Paragraph dialog box
Entry: Home → Paragraph → dialog box launcher
- Select the paragraph you want to format.
- Click the Home tab.
- In the Paragraph group, click the dialog box launcher in the lower-right corner.
- In the Indents and Spacing tab, find Alignment.
- Choose the alignment option you need from the drop-down list.
- Click OK to apply the setting.

- The settings in the Paragraph dialog box are applied to the current paragraph.

- You can continue adjusting indentation, spacing, and other paragraph settings afterward.
