How-to Guide
1. Add an Underline
Feature entry: Tools > Home > Underline
- Select the text that you want to underline.
- Tap Tools.
- Open the Home tab.
- Tap the Underline button with the U icon.
- The underline is applied immediately. To remove it, tap the same button again.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: An underline appears below the selected text.
- What you can do next: You can keep typing or continue applying other text formatting.
- No side effect: The original text content is not deleted or replaced.
Tips While Using
- When you continue typing, newly entered text keeps the underline format.
- Removing underline formatting uses the same button. Tap it again to turn the format off.
2. Change Underline Color
Feature entry: Tools > Home > the ... icon next to Underline
- Select the text whose underline color you want to change.
- Tap Tools.
- Open the Home tab.
- Tap the ... icon next to the Underline button.
- Select the color you want, such as black, blue, or yellow.
- Tap the color to apply the change.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: The underline below the text changes to the selected color.
- What you can do next: You can continue editing text or switch to other formatting options.
- No side effect: The text content itself stays unchanged.
Tips While Using
- By default, the underline color matches the font color.
- If the text is not selected first, you may not see the color change on the target content.
