1. Apply italics from the toolbar
Entry: Editing mode → Tools → Home → Italic
- Open the document you want to edit and enter editing mode.
- Select the text that you want to format in italics.
- Tap Tools in the bottom toolbar, then open Home.
- Tap the I icon to apply italic formatting.
- To remove italics, tap the I icon again.

2. Apply italics from selected text controls
Entry: Editing mode → Long press to select text → Format → Home → Italic
- Open the document and enter editing mode.
- Long-press the text you want to adjust, then drag the selection handles to set the range.
- In the floating toolbar, tap Format.
- In the Home tab, tap the I icon.
- Confirm that the selected text is now italic.
Success Criteria
