1. Apply italic from the Tools panel
Entry path: Editing mode > Tools > Home > Italic
- Open a WPS Writer document and enter editing mode.
- Select the text that you want to format in italic.
- Tap Tools in the bottom toolbar.
- Open the Home tab.
- Tap the Italic button or the I icon to apply italic formatting.
- If you want to remove italic, tap the same button again.
