Entry path: Tools → Home → Superscript
- Select the text you want to format as superscript.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap Superscript. The icon appears as
x^2^. - The selected text is displayed as superscript.

2. Apply Subscript
Entry path: Tools → Home → More next to Superscript → Subscript
- Select the text you want to format as subscript.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap the ... icon next to Superscript.
- Tap Subscript. The icon appears as
x~2~. - The selected text is displayed as subscript.
