FAQ

Why can’t I see paragraph marks after opening my document?

  1. Make sure you are in the WPS Writer document editing view.
  2. Click the Home tab and open the Show/Hide Editing Marks drop-down menu.
  3. Check whether Show/Hide Paragraph Marks is selected.
  4. If the marks still do not appear, go to File > Options > View and check whether paragraph marks are turned off there.

Will paragraph marks affect printing results?

  1. Paragraph marks are formatting display items used mainly during editing.
  2. After you finish checking the layout, you can turn them off again.
  3. In normal document output, these editing marks are generally not treated as body content.

Can I display only one type of formatting mark?

  1. Click the File menu and open Options.
  2. Open the View tab.
  3. In the Formatting Marks area, select only the mark type that you want to display.
  4. Click OK and return to the document to review the result.
