1. AutoCorrect Settings

Feature path: File → Writer Preferences → Edit → AutoCorrect

  1. Open WPS Writer.
  2. Click the File menu and select Writer Preferences.
  3. In the dialog box, select the Edit tab.
  4. In the AutoCorrect section, select or clear the options you want.
  5. Click OK to save the settings.

Common options include:

  • Automatically capitalize the first letter of sentences while typing
  • Capitalize the first letter of English dates
  • Replace ordinals such as 1st with superscript
