Feature path: Tools → Home → Superscript
- Select the text that you want to format as superscript.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap Superscript. Its icon is x^2^.
- The selected text changes to superscript formatting.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: The selected text appears above normal text.
- Next action available: You can continue typing, editing, or saving the document.
Tips While Using
- Superscript is suitable for mathematical expressions and footnote numbers.
- After it is applied, the font size becomes smaller automatically.
2. Apply Subscript
Feature path: Tools → Home → ... next to Superscript → Subscript
- Select the text that you want to format as subscript.
- Tap Tools.
- Tap the Home tab.
- Tap the ... icon next to Superscript.
- Tap Subscript. Its icon is x~2~.
- The selected text changes to subscript formatting.
Success Criteria
